We were able to give substantial amounts for the awards this year. We awarded $2,000.00 to 2 women; $1,500.00 to 2 women; $1,000.00 to 6 women, $900.00 to 2 women; $600.00 to 2 women and $500.00 to one woman. As an organization, the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) is committed to the pursuit of knowledge and the promotion of education, especially as it pertains to women. Following a successful fundraiser with the Christmas house tour, CFUW Perth and District is pleased to offer financial assistance to local women residing in Perth or the surrounding district who are pursuing an accredited program at a college or university. Women of all ages are eligible to apply, subject to acceptance in a recognized program of studies.
This award will be of particular interest to those upgrading academic credentials, employment prospects and/or skills. Please review the guidelines for the letter of application listed below.
